When the dust settled after the big move I had a little window of time to get back onto the Hyperactive ABC project. |
|
Past experiments produced some really stunning results and so I felt it was worth putting the hours in to move the project forward. |
|
In the meantime my dad had opened the gallery in Oslo. As he was(is) looking for people to exhibit I suggested I do a show in November. |

Agreed I thought that the HyperAPC could be a fine project to explore for the exhibition. |
|
Instead of going straight into the gritty alphabet typeface design I decided to explore the underlining letterforms as a path for more abstract images. |
|
What I was seeing pleased me. |

I combined the type-engine with the RGBAction colour generator. |

While tweaking the parameters I discovered places I had never been before. |

I have completed a large number of abstract images and a series of more controlled typographic works. |
|
Instead of working towards a conventional same letter alphabet I made every character different. |
|
I want letters to express what is being said. Like spoken, a word sounding differet every time. |
