Christmas in Uganda
I think Emma bought the tickets in March 2008, after endless discussions and consultations with her sister. Yes, we were all going, finally, to the country of Emma's origin. Where she was born and where her father and siblings lived. |

And so time went by. All of a sudden, late November we realised the time had come to pack our bags. So we packed and packed and planned and prepared, until we heard honking outside our window. It was the cab. By then it was 3am, December 13 and it was time to leave. With no sleep and plenty of butterflies we set off with our 2 monkeys and 12 pieces of luggage. |
